A youthful biracial mom standing between her two adult sons, two light-skinned black men.

All Gifts, a memoir

At age sixteen, with a newborn baby, I couldn’t imagine how to break the cycle of abuse, poverty and hopelessness we’d both been born into.

At age twenty-five, with two children by two different dads, I was caught in the same cycles I’d been determined to avoid.

At age thirty, I hit rock bottom so hard, there was nowhere to go but up.

By the grace of God, I learned that everything in life, the good and even the devastating, can be a gift.

Once I unlocked that ability, I was able to overcome and thrive.

My passion in life is to help others do the same.

I’m in the process of querying literary agents to help publish All Gifts.
